Then we will go to the first refuge which is located at 4800 meters above sea level and then walk 200 meters to the second refuge which is located at 5000 meters above sea level. Then we will have an appetizing box lunch, and we will receive a short talk about all the safety precautions and climbing technique that the guides can give us. We will have dinner at 6:00 pm and then go to rest until 12:00 am for the climb.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->"},{"title":"Chimborazo Summit","content":"<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>We will wake up at midnight and have breakfast, and then climb to Whymper Peak; which is at 6,310 meters above sea level. It will take us about 3 to 4 hours to return to the shelter where we will collect all our equipment and return to our car, and return to Quito.
